Okay. I guess you told me, eh?
Now go tell that to all the ex-England drivers out there and see what they have to say about it. After about the third melts your ear you'll be running home to momma.
If anyone needs to learn some manners, it's the folks running CRE. But don't take my word for it. Read the threads here in the 'Bad Trucking Company' section. That's a good start.

now why on earth would i read threads about a company i used to work for?
i have worked there, i have my own observations, does it get better than first hand knowledge?
if you havent worked there, but you are going by others, who has a more valid opinion?
i never said it was a wonderful place to work, hence is a reason why i no longer work there, i wasnt fired, i resigned
but to catergorically call my post bs is rude
or is rudeness a badge of honor to you? -
Any driver that doesn't do well there is a slouch, at least to you. Any driver that's taken advantage of at CRE gets that treatment because he sits on his duff.
Hey, I'm just reading YOUR blither here. You're hinting that only a certain kind of (substandard) driver feels pain at CRE, a driver who's lazy, doesn't work hard, complains, whatever. I, of course, disagree. I know this is hogwash. I know plenty of hard workers who were taken to the cleaners there. These guys moved on and did great at their next outfits.
I think you'd better go back and rethink this post. -
i can see you and i will become best of friends..........
-
let me say this....
i was not implying anyone was lazy. you can be a hard worker and get the shaft at these companies
you gotta look at this whole thing from different angles, you have to approach it cautiously, you have to NOT buy their propaganda, hook line and sinker
you gotta realize they will screw you and do so and call it profitability
its not about being a hard worker, its not about working hard, its about working smart
that was my meaning, not that i was calling anyone lazy
i made more money as a leasee at cre than i would have made as a company driver anywhere else
that was my point -
Okay, points taken. And they're right. One must work smart there if he's to make it work. Maybe these guys I know didn't do that. Gone are the days when hard work alone will get one a reward.

After the first 23 pages im definantly re-thinking going to CRE my wife and i are wanting to team drive and this was the company we thought about going with. Now im not sure it would be a wise decision. Im looking for a good company for me and my wife to get good training and also plenty of miles(aka make a descent living)

Go with Crete or Roehl. Don't go with England.
Both Crete and Roehl have negative posts, but the number of those posts about each company pales in comparison to England's. And not much is posted about England in the "good" company section. England also has quite a few negative posts on the site "Ripoffreport dot com".
People will say to stay away from the lease, as you'll get burned by company dirty trickery. I say to stay away from the company itself, as any company that burns anybody that badly isn't worth working for. Plus, CRE has recently been sued by a group of its EX--Fleece Operators. It lost that case. Just the fact they had to be sued by those guys alone makes them ineligible to receive my driving services. -
I ran accross an ad for CR England here in North Carolina with area schools, training, etc.
Q: Is it a safe bet the same management style exists all over? -
I've heard from Ex-England vets that the answer to that is "YES."
They're based in Salt Lake City, yet they have an ad in a paper some 2000 miles away. Talk about desperation. That's why they're called C. Our. England Ad. You want no part of a desperate company. Where IS the nearest CRE terminal to North Carolina? New Jersey?
