Should motor carriers report on conduct of other motor carriers?

    Sure thing.

That way they're spending all their profits on the lawyers, instead of the drivers.

What sort of "conduct" are you referring to and how is this "bad conduct" going to be verified?

this day and age of video cell phones it wouldnt be to difficult to prove if you can get the vehicle info clear.
sometime it can be your life on the line if you dont bring this to attention .

Alot of factors to consider on this subject. Two incedents I witnessed in the last few days. One was a Calark driver speeding and passing other trucks on the right through that construction zone east of Birmingham on I-20.Was a woman driver and probably 50-60 yrs old.All trucks were to stay in the left lane and the speed limit was 45 mph.She was doing probably 55 to 60 and passing trucks on the right.I saw the lights from the troopers car behind me as he went around me just as she cleared me.She was a Idiot and I hope she got several tickets and a big fine. That type of person should be reported to her company. The other one was a o/o that had passed me and another truck and a four wheeler jumped over and was on his right and he pulled back into the right lane, running the four wheeler off the road onto the shoulder.Nothing bad happened but it probably scared the crap out of the four wheeler driver. The o/o just didn't see the car,he made a mistake and lucky no one was hurt.I don't think he should be reported on because it was a mistake and not intentional.
