Central Refrigerated Truck Stop II

My fiancee and I are going to be starting in April. The recruiter mentioned that there would be separate training. What do I need to do or who do I need to talk with to have us be able to train together?

 

They usually dont train teams together anymore...you can ask them while youre in school but no gaurantees. If they let you guys team one of you better be able to stay up and drive all night long

 

I don't know the policies on training as a team, but I do know the requirements and it would be much more efficient to train separate. The first 3 days a student can only drive in day light hours. Then it is still limited to not between 2am and 6am the first 2 weeks. So getting the full 200 hours in the same amount of time as if you went separate trainers is not possible.

 

Heck. I know as a fact that someone from my company watches this forum. I kind if guessed it. But when I had a meeting a few weeks ago with the regional director of my company he called me chromedome. And this is one of the few places I use that name.

unless you are married you will not be able to train toegher. 2 in a truck is bad but 3 people is really hard due to limited space.

 

Hubby and I trained separately... It was hard being apart, but I'm glad we did... Each trainer was different and we were able to pool our gleaned knowledge... So we sort of knew something... LOL!

 

Does anyone have any advice on how to get in and out of Walmart DC quickly. Have been doing several Walmart runs lately and am loosing miles because of them. I have to sit there for 4 hrs or more waiting on them to unload. I have not been late on any of them.

 

Sorry, no advice. Walmart will take their two hrs every time! As a general rule. The DC in Cheyenne wy will allow you to drop and hook sometimes depends on your load. The last time I delivered to wm they had me unloaded in 30min and then took another 2 hrs to get my bills. Personally I hate WM ! I don't even shop at that dump.

 

On some of the loads you can lump your own load... Then you might not get moving any faster... But you at least get paid for your time.
