Exactly . Carriers started pushing this after CSA 2010 started . They don't realize these services have a good track record in traffic court but CSA point are a different story .
There are also legal services you don't have to pay monthly to .they work on a case by case basis

When the speed limit drops from 65 to 45 with no warning and a local cop is sitting at the sign at 3am waiting it is indeed a bs ticket. No way I had enough time to get down to 45 , he said I was doing 59 in a 45, I was slowing down as fast as I could without locking the brakes.

There are times when you do everything right and still get the short end.

Btw I have gotten a 72 in a 55, 60 in a 45, and a few other misc violations when i was younger in my 4 wheeler. I deserved them and paid them. But I will not just roll over when I know I did right and still got the shaft. So don't judge me or my word unless you want to do it face to face :biggrin_25510:

Everyone is so afraid of offending someone.
I find political correctness offensive, but nobody seems to care about THAT.

Really grinds my gears..I tell ya, but what can ya do?

I remember that thread... Glad to hear you got it reduced but somehow I don't think you learned from it.

X2 Save the 7 bucks a week that adds up to $364 a year and for that I bet you get a "discount" on legal fees with some kind of max (time or $$) just keep it safe and legal and put the money in your IRA

My company takes the charge out of my check as well. I think the service is provided through "Drivers Legal".

It is also a fee to be on the plan, any accrued amount does not cover any services. (If I am remembering correctly) When the service is needed you still pay the lawyer fees. But I assume they are much much cheaper than a hiring a regular lawyer. I have heard instances of $150 and $185 charges.

But I pay $2.98 per week and an additional $1.50 to include my wife. I believe it covers us no matter what we are driving.
