wow, 2 months and out of thousands of drivers who visit this forum, not a soul has heard about this company. Perhaps they're a secret undercover outfit and no one is allowed to speak their name.

According to the fmcsa this company does not have any authority and they only had 2 trucks not the 150 they are listing in some ads. These ads may be a scam for getting personal information. You might want to keep your info from them if you can't verify that they are legit.

The phone number listed is for Sarasota Florida but the location of the company address is Sylva, NC. I Googled the phone number and nothing shows except complaints from people saying they keep getting calls from the number and a classified ad selling a punching bag.

If anyone can verify that they are legit please post here so we all know.

 

It is weird. No website that I can find. 3 driver hiring sites list them in Sylva, NC. Each site has a different spelling of the street name in Sylva. The 4th site I looked at has them listed in FL, but the ad is blank in any and all info, requirements, benefits etc.

 

I called them and spoke to a guy named Patrick. Nice enough fella but he was more like a recruiter for other companies. Tried getting me to go to Heartand. Told me he didn't have enough work for his trucks until the busy season which started in November. No idea what season that is but he told me to give Heartless a try and that if I didn't like it come Nov. he'd put me in one of his trucks.Uhhhh ok. Also said he has some special arrangement with them for when he is slow that his drivers go there until his business picks up. It just seemed really bizarre to me, the whole conversation. I elected to stay away. This was back in May or June, so it's fairly recent.

 

Yeah really weird in all aspects. I did an aerial view of the Sylva address, nothing there but trees and a few houses. That in no way means the shop/trucks and trailers are required to be at the listed address, but it does add to the mystery of it all.
The number I have is a Florida number. It is listed to Patrick Nicholson and there are 4 harrassment listings to that number of a guy making calls in the middle of the night and cursing people.


I don't have a clue what the real deal is here, but it doesn't sound like any of us need any of it! LOL

 

Yea, actually his father was the owner of PBN Nicholson Trucking, Carolina Nicholson Trucking, and the reason why he was wanting you to come to FL is because they run produce. Maybe if you'd of paid enough attention - everyone knows that they do seasonal work. They actually haul strawberries in the winter time starting in NC down to Plant City, FL in about October, and do xmas trees Nov.-Dec. and produce up until May. I actually know Patrick Nicholson & Paul Nicholson very well. And I highly doubt the two presidents of a company would call you and harass you.

 

They are a Good Family to truck for but they do seasonal work only. During Season they lease trucks from all over the U.S. Pay Attention to them guys. They have a unique way to make money. And yes they have any where from 4 to 150 trucks running at any time.
