because for the pay period I only had one load completed. the 2nd load started monday but didn't get finished until thursday, cutoff for pay is wed so it will get added to next week...

so a question for you other may drivers. looking over my weekly recaps, im now noticing that all the scales and oil that I've bought and thought I was getting reimbursed for I actually HAVEN'T been getting money back for them. They all show up under reimbursements but then also show up under deductions listed as ADV.... why is that? cause at this point they are lucky its the weekend or I would be on the phone screaming at someone. I usually pay cash for them and just get a PO number and get the money added to my card and figured it would just even out in the end, but not if they are giving it to me and at the same time deducting it from my pay, then its just my cash thats being spent.....

That ain't no good. You should not be having to pay for that stuff out of your pocket even if you do get reimbursed.

I am impatient, and I send in a request for scales while Im doing them so I just pay for it, they just put the money on the comdata card, same card you get your paychecks on. same with the oil they ask me how much it is with taxes and they put it on the card so I usually just pay cash since the money is on the card. well they are giving me the money, but on my paychecks they are also deducting the money which is what I'm confused about.

After the money is on your Comdata card and you get a po what are you doing with the money? Transferring it to your bank account, taking it out at ATM or leaving it on there? Because those reimbursements are not part of your actual paycheck themselves. I always take it off the card right away whether at ATM or transfer bank account. I noticed on pay stubs though that it shows added onto it and then deducted from it also, but knowing I already put the money into my account I am not worried about it now, seeing as it shows the same thing for lumper fees etc... Now if you are taking the money off your card at ATM or transfer to bank account after being reimbursed and they are taking it outta your paycheck after that also, then there might be something wrong. But if it just shows they added so much to your card and it shows same amount deducted and you took your reimbursement off the card at ATM or transfer to bank account then there is nothing wrong.

i just leave it on there, usually 9.50 or $18 isnt worth it to me to withdraw/xfer i just wait until payday and move it all at once, or withdraw. but yeah I get you now.... even tho it does cancel eachother out on the recap, they DID give me the money on the card and no I don't believe they are actually withdrawing it from the card so yes you are correct lol... man I been sitting here at little america too long. my day started at 3am so I was done driving at 3pm.... its even more boring that driving!!!! not that i dont like the drive, but you tend to come up with some weird ways to keep entertained lol
