Who else has one in their new Cascadia?

And if you do, could ya help a brother out with how to use it?? I read the instructions, followed to a T, and can't get it to work.

It won't work with the engine running, it won't work with the engine off. When I try "park mode" the amber light comes on for about 3 seconds then goes out.

    Anyone??

It's a DDEC setting. Unless the shop turns it on, you don't get it.

It's the DDEC video that really talks about the options that are available for you.

If this is a company truck, good luck convincing your maint dept to turn some of those features on.

yea I watched that one. It is a company truck, I just want my cooling system, LOL, I know they won't turn on the other stuff.

ask em about the idle one.

I am going to give my truck a month or so and get a feel for it.

Then talk to the owner about it. My trainer already commented on my driving habits and noticed he was putting in less fuel this week.

will do. I know the cooling system is supposed to be turned on, they told us they wanted driver feedback on how we like them cause they are looking into alternatives to APU's which is why I was confused why mine didn't work LOL.

I will look into the other options more closely and talk to the shop.

you may be able to get them talked into it then.

Big thing I am learning is "change your driving habits."

It's not like you have to mash it to the floor anymore and you don't need to race that engine to get it to perform.
