Well another phase has come to an end. I took my road test with Bill in Trenton today and got issued my truck. A T600 with a few miles on her. She's clean, the last "owner" took real good care of her. Hustled around and got issued all the gear Millis requires you to have, load locks, straps, ect. Picked up oil, antifreeze and windshield washer fluid, spare bulbs, spare wipers. My truck has the old Qualcom in her so thats another learning experience. Did my pretrip, messaged "Ready for Dispatch" and shortly got a load going through the house headed for Missouri and Quincy Illinois. Delivers on Monday, both stops. All in all, I'm pleased to be done training with the instructor in the truck. It's a bit tight with two "GROWN" men in the truck 24/7.
My trainer, Gary, was a great guy to be trainer by. He made life interesting to say the least. If you have the opportunity, request his as your trainer. Best of luck to everyone and Be Safe out there doing what your doing. -
Congrats on your own truck, Let us know how regional works out, I plan on doing the same.

Well any truck I'm in is going to be clean....can't stand to have a dirty truck...I just paid a good chunk of $$$ to have the wheels, tanks, and steps cut and polished...so if you haven't made it by a blue beacon truck wash yet..tell them not to use the brightener on the wheels and tanks and steps..otherwise it streaks them and starts eattin the polish off and they start turning white...that's only if you want to keep them polished...totally your call on that!! Other than that everything should be good to go... Only reason I had to give it up is because I needed a truck with a top bunk for training purposes....otherwise I would still have her!! Take care of her and she'll get ya where you need to go without any problems.. if you have any ??s about the truck feel free to give me a shout or shoot me a text! ...... Terry (770)318-4185
ricrey99 Thanks this. -
