I have been here 8 months and picked up my new Cascadia today.

I think it really depends most on your DBL.

Now I can say Schneider has treated me very well as an employer. Except in this manner. When I hired on I told them no up north. And they continualy think that I was kidding. I am out of Nashville but they really think that I am suppose to be smelling Canada. This was my only condition I have with any company.

well, not to be a jerk but, if most of the freight was up north, and they oblidged by your wishes of not sending you up there, would you complain that you weren't getting enough miles???

I go where the freight is, even if I hate the area, like the entire northeast!!

I'll see your SE regional in New York and raise you NE regional in North Carolina!!!!:biggrin_25523:

But mine comes with a disclaimer. I dont care if they send me south. Only means my runs are longer.:biggrin_25525: especially if they have to route for TAH.:biggrin_255: 4 days out for this pay period , got right around 2k in paid miles for this week. I'll expect that to drop a little when I transition over to WtF soemtime next week. Make a mistake, you sit til they fix it. Told that explicitly. :biggrin_25516:

I got enough on my mind trying to figure out this new truck, I don't need anymore to worry about!

it has the "owners manual" in it doesnt it? this 2010 still had its book. was helpful to leaf through it.

So what are these idle reduction things? do they provide any power at all? I dont think this inverter is working as well as it could be for my cpap machine. I dont want to idle unnecessarily if I dont have to. am allowed 40% year round which equates to 10 hrs a day. imagine that. I have been trying to limit idle to when asleep only. which , on average, gives me 3 hrs to play with during the day.

I was in Atl. early this morning, and it was indeed packed. Were any of you guys able to find empties?Trailers have been very scarce here lately.
There were plenty of old orange trucks up for sale, and a few with sold signs in the window :biggrin_25521:
Should be more space available once the old trucks are gone.
