Maybe you missing the bus is a blessing in disguise but how'd ya miss it?I won't drive for a company that requires taking the bus. They have to be within a hundred mile radius.Don't wanna be crammed in those unfortable seats for hrs and if im not happy with that company I dont wanna have to spend hrs coming back.

You've been drivong awhile no doubt about it but I would'nt do an LP with any company without testing the waters first.

It was in fact by choice. DOT audit went smooth also.

I start tomorrow as a Driver Manager, after reading some of the responses. I'm already regretting the decision. :biggrin_25511: Any positive words of Wisdom anyone??

The Only reason I am considering going there, is the fact that Hirschbach is looking at starting a tanker division (Supposedly hauling milk & also having a few trailers dedicated for blood since they have their "bread & butter packing plants already....)

Little background on me, my dads' an O/O (been one for 40 years), been around trucking all my life, just graduating college and looking for a place to start. Want to do tanker since that's where the majority of my experience is. Worked out at Decker Truck Line in Fort Dodge when I attended college getting my Logistics degree.

Down the road I would like to go back to my dad's company as we recently put a 2nd truck on the road. (Last October) Looking at adding a 3rd sometime soon. Wanted to always drive, but suffered two seizures in High School and the DOT put the axe to that dream.

    So, hopefully, Hirschbach isn't a complete letdown....:biggrin_25511:

    Happy Father's Day!!
