Semi-Good Company??? Anyone....

I know this question is already on here from others but there is a lot of old posts and responses and now maybe new ideas and new opinions on companies have arisen....


Here's my question(s):




What are the companies that will allow me to ride with my guy right out the gate that also have fairly good pay/benefits, allow pets, etc...
He is a local Class A driver with All endorsements and a clean record.
We want to go OTR. Home time is not a big concern for either one of us. Nor is being in close quarters with one another.
I am planning to get my CDL so we can then team drive and make extra money.



My guy has already talked to Swift and liked what they had to say but we are not going to just jump on the first thing or what a recruiter has to say right off the bat.
I know Knight is out, at least for now, as he has already talked to them as well...



We are also even considering the idea of Leasing from a company as well. I know on that one what some will say, "Don't Do It!!!". However that is a 50/50 from people and what I've been reading.



I know in the end its going to be what is best for the two of us, I would just love to hear some peoples experiences, thoughts, ideas, opinions.
Anything and Everything that is bouncing around in your head on this, I would really appreciate hearing.....

We live in Oregon for the time being but are planning a move to Virginia.

US Express was on on our list for, lol "The Boss" to check on and so is Prime now
