I've been dealing with a Prime recruiter for a week or so. This person will NOT email anything to me other than a 'please call me' email, despite my requests that they send me specifics of what information they need so that we can proceed. I would really prefer that any requests for specific information or status updates be emailed so that I can keep track of them, put them on my to-do list, and make sure that everything that I provide is accurate.

Are Prime recruiters not allowed to put anything in writing?

Might be the first clue that they are not "telling" the truth?

Southpaw7391, dancnoone and CRSTMaria Thank this.

Exactly....this is the reason every little thing I discussed with my recruiter was done primarily via email.

Well, I'm not as concerned about them telling me the truth as I am about them asking for verification of this or that, me giving them information over the phone, and then being accused of giving them inaccurate information (employment history, criminal record, MVR, etc). I have no proof of what they requested, and no written proof of the information that I gave them :|

I've got nothing to hide from them, but if it comes down to a 'he said she said', then it may appear that I do unless there's a paper trail for communication. Make sense?

All puppy mill trucking companys, well at least the big ones, don't use email. They don't want to 'get caught' saying something, that you might be able to use agaisnt them in one way or another.
Yes you do want to be concerned they are telling your the truth.

How hard is it to fill out an application, supply your MVR, and any other pertinent information. When sending email, just select that you want a read receipt on your email program before you send, and there you go, you have a record of what you have sent.

    da1 Thanks this.

All of the newbs posting here, as well as U2 and myself will tell you there has never been a problem among the group of us with the truthfulness of the recruiters at Prime. 85% of the contact I had with the recruiter I worked through was via email.

    Windsmith... just call the dude.
