Daymn that's a lot of cash for something the company is requiring. I still think they should pay for the test

Yep! I paid 3 copay offc visits at 40$ a pop missed 2 days work, still owe $286.00 ro the doc and $1057.00 to the hospital! 2 days work at $150 a day ave for regional chicken jerkin. Add all that up and Im loosing right at $1800.00 for a "company required" tests! Im ##### glad i dont have it or i would have lost 14days more of work. Wait let me re phrase that-i would have been out the $1800s and would have had to quit immediatly instead of lookin first.

Yeah... sucks. My carrier negotiated a deal with a clinic - $150 to take the test if you aren't diagnosed with it. $2200 for the test, machine and follow-up care, but they take it out of your settlement at $50 per week. All done at our main terminal - they have an old Howard Johnson's they own to put folks up while in orientation, upgrade, this stuff, etc. Still sucks.

Still it is a company-required test. You'd think all of the carriers would be footing the bill for this if you're an employee. Since its required for employment, you should be able to deduct it on your taxes.
