    Hi i have a Volvo d12c 465 hp.
    Runs like a 200hp.
Abs lights come on and off, still no difference.
Everything seems fine, repair shop can't find problem.

Only slight leak on fan clutch housing.

Injector cups were done 1.5yrs ago. Can the valve clearance be out??
I replaced oil sending unit, was reading full on guage.

    Thanks

How would I test the epg, and would I need special tools. When checking boost lines, should I be looking for air leak, or should I spray a liquid and look for bubbles.

Also I dont have a turbo boost guage, I want to install one. Not sure where to drill, on intake manifold or tubing from air to air unit. Do you have any suggestions.

    thanks alot

epg is fully open with no pressure on control air line.
sometimes EPG gets stucked in closed position and low power, exaust leaks.

Boost pressure is easy to check with VCADs pro

    Hi,

Where is the epg located on the truck, and where is the control air line...

To check epg for open, does truck have to be running or shut off.

    Sorry Im just learning.

    thanks

EPG is on exaust manyfold, it is like a exaust brake, but PWM controled.

Depending on software EPG may be closed on warming up till park brake is applied

I was looking at exhaust manifold, I didn`t see any epg valve or anything.

Could there be another place for it.
There is the manifold. On the lower right I have a air compressor.
And below on the lower right there is the turbo etc.
    Anywhere else shud I check..
