it's been a couple years but can't say to many bad things about them... say hi to dean(dispatch)

 

See some new trucks on the road lately , new paint scheme and style of lettering

 

I have nothing bad to say about them, just from what i've seen 9/10 flat decks pulled by them are empty that i come across it seems. Though it looks like they are getting into alot more dry vans now then before.

 

Depending on where you see them they are likely repositioning after delivering a load to go pickup a load. They haul ( or use too ) a lot of GLASS and you do not just pick it up any old place.

 

When I was there they had mostly got out of glass hauling. They were doing a lot of leisure products for Polaris and arctic cat so repositioning after they deliver those.

 

Big Freight doesn't do glass anymore plant closed. Dean is no longer there, in my opinion they lost their best dispatcher. They recently bought Paramounts warehouse trailers ect. So they may be trying to get more into dry van. But there is more money to be made in decks. They still have a lot of work. Like anywhere you keep a low profile, do your job, you will do very well, just don't draw any attention to yourself.
