Getting a prehire is easy no matter what. Only thing the school does is fill your app out for you for one of their many sponsored companies. No job is guaranteed at all. Difference between q company school (like stevens) and independent (roadmaster) is that the company school has you binded into contract, making it nearly impossible to find another job until its fulfilled. When I graduated roadmaster, I was free to go wherever.

live in Ocala, hubby works for sunstate, great company so far, the longest wait time he has had has been 2 hours and they pay you like clock work, he was with JBS and almost every pick up or delivery he sat sometimes on a drop and hook the trl. would be ready but more times NOT he started working for sunstate, started him 5 cents more per mile and home every 2 weeks, grerat equipment and they pay weekley, with JBs it was biweekley and had to fight for home time. this is a much better copany. they actually CARE about you as an employee

The fact that Sunstate is based out of Tavares, FL is so much better than being with JBS and based out of Greeley, CO, atleast you have a piece of mind that they probably have a good customer base to get you home to Florida on time and when you want to be. Glad to hear things are working out better for you guys.

Does he work for Sunstate or a contractor for Sunstate? Somehow I thought they only had O/O and O/O Fleets? Maybe I am thinking of someone else.
