I'm in utah. Cut out no higher than 130 cut in no lower than 85. Low pressure warning after 75 and before 55. No more than 4 psi loss in 1 minute. Correct?
Don't have my book on me right now to check.
Taking driving test today. Want to double check air brake psi

Low pressure warning after 60psi. No more than 4 psi in 1 minute.

Yes that is specific to Utah as well as most all other states. Verbiage may vary but yes that is correct. Good luck on your tests!

Thanks for the info!

Oh below 60 but above what? Out is out just below 60? Also, temp 170 to 200 and oil 30 to 70 right?
-
You got it! Bellow 60 and above 130. Temp varies depending on vehicle. Oil is correct. Main thing to remember is the air pressure. Warning then when brakes engage.
-
When should the brakes engage?
ok let me line all this up one more time to make perfect sure, i dont wanna fail this part for the obvious reason that I will not pass lol.
Cut out: 130
Cut in: 85
Warning Lights: Before 60, nothing specified for after a certain psi
Brakes engage: 20 - 45 psi (Vehicle specification)Last edited: Mar 24, 2012
