Well I'm #### sore from hand unloading an entire trailer all day yesterday and one stop today. Was great exercise though. #### load had everything from tiny little boxes, to couches and chairs, heavy ### tables, desserts, etc. None of the 4 stops had loading docks. Only the last 2 had carts to roll stuff to the back of the trailer. Talk about a PITA!

the equipment is exactly what an inexperienced driver should be driving. at least for a few months. which is how SNI does it. Once you pass your saftrac (like sqt's) you'll soon be taken from your training board to your regular board. At which time you should get upgraded ot a newer less miles truck.

actually, they are starting to smarten up.

They are purchasing 3300 new tractors this year. They are phasing out all the 08 and older tractors.

I have had my new 2012 for a week, and the more I drive, I am starting to see more and more new trucks.

There will still be some older ones on the road, but for the most part, there will be more and more brand new trucks.

and.....my old truck was a 06 and had 912k on it when I got it. It was old and ugly.

But you know what? Guess how many times it left me stranded on the side of the road not getting miles because it broke down. Zero.

I had a loaner truck before I picked up my new one, the loaner was a 2010 with 280k on it, had it a week and it broke down twice, and I sat for a day and a half while they replaced the injectors in it.

Some of the trucks may be old, but if they run great it isn't cost effective to get rid of them. I will say I think SNI has one great maint. staff.
