JBS hires from everywhere, because they have a driver deficit, 100 leave every week and they bring 40 in for orientation, so that is a net loss of 60 drivers,they hire from everywhere,but don't expect to get home everywhere, just ask harleymax from Florida

 

the part from Jbs carriers from all forty eight is incorrect. we have a hiring freeze on florida at the moment and a few other states too. i am going to get with recruiting and see what those states are and will update accordingly.

 

They love inexperienced drivers, they even love them more than the experienced ones, you'll get 3000-3400 miles per week once you leave your trainer @ .30 cpm. What a great deal !

 

the turn around at jbs is high because of two reasons. one we are a new company with barely three years operation so there are some major growing pains going on. One section of the office does not want to speak to the other section. the "let me email them and wait for the answer and i will get back to you ." sucks specially when you know all they have to do is stand up and say hey can we do this in stead of this. the second is some of the drivers we have are not willing to work with the system and oh i don't know, follow the few rules we do have and keep it safe. then when the safety department calls them on the carpet for this or that they get a OH did i do that attitude. i have been with jbs for over two years. i was here when they got their hand slap by d.o.t. and i was here when they were forced to put the e.o.b.r. in all the trucks. I like the e.o.b.r because when i get pulled over and the officer sees that little sticker on the side of my truck 9 times out of ten i hear "have a nice day" we lost a lot of drivers when that went down. we lost more when corp decide to slow us down by 3mph. big whoop. 65 or 68 doesn't matter still gonna get there before the 70mph truck does because i keep my left door shut and my right door locked. they have a extensive physical that some have a problem passing, they take their road test seriously,if you can't follow the road rules coming out of the yard where they can see you,No they are not going to put you in a brand new truck so you can trash their company and maybe kill someone. think about it ppl. there are two sides to every story and the ones who trash may not being telling it all. just saying.

the company is not new no more and if ur a mentor u r getting miles the conmmuation is terbbile at this place im telling all u new drivers out orf school please do your self and ur family a favor do not work for this place u will b screawd swift or knight will treat u better
