Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

I have been reading the threads about Prime on here for sometime now and have been talking to a recruiter. I really like what I have been reading and am thankful for all of those who participate in these threads and update all on thier experiences training with and driving for Prime.
I've noticed that a class may start out with approximatly 60+ students but get thinned out rather quickly, why is that? I will be leaving a secure job, not a great one but still a job, and would hate to quit just to find that I was cut within the first week at Prime. I have a Class A permit and prime is getting my mvr as of today.
Again thanks to all the drivers contributing to these threads. -
Most of the ones that get cut quick, have either LIED to the recruiter, (they will find out whatever it is), They pop positive on drug test, declined drug test cause they knew it would be positive or they just changed their mind. Keep an open positive approach, be completely honest with the recruiter about employment, legal issues, traffic issues, anything. Most of it can be overcome and you will be a driver for the best company on the road
windsmith Thanks this. -
Thanks Easy! Thats good to hear! It's something that I've wanted to do all my life but other obligations always seem to have gotten in the way. As soon as I hear back from Tiffany I will keep you guys posted on my progress! Ride Safe!

is it true that prime has the flatbed drivers pulling reefers when it slows down in that division ?
-
No. But we did have a mass exodus of FB switching to the reefer division when everything went to hell in 2008. Reefer division didn't get hit as hard as FB division.
Don't get me wrong, everything slowed down at the time, FB more than reefer. -
Good Luck, Also I have family down your way in New Smyrna and Edgewater
-
What slow down? No problems with getting loads over here. Not with my FM anyway. I picked up in Daytona Beach a few weeks ago.
-
What rock were you living under at the end of '08 and all of '09???
-
The rock of "I dont drive trucks" lol I worked on a boat back then. I was happy not to have a load.
