'97 FLD 120 front speakers in upper counsel

    HEY...WAIT A MINUTE:biggrin_25524::biggrin_25511:
    My grilles are round and attached from the back side..the speakers are attached from the back side also. And they're larger than the grille so there's now way to change them from the front like the ones in the picture!

    The picture he posted is of a Western Star. I also own a WS and he was showing me how crappy the speakers are.

    You can just knock out the mesh grill on the FLD and install the speaker that way. The speakers will come with grills that u can install OVER the existing hole. Looks better too

    No..have had some sudden major issues to deal with besides taking a few special long runs for a friend who needed some help...hoping to get at it this weekend.

    Is the same process needed to access the air valve for the air horn?
    It looks like the only access is thru the speaker area.
    Do I need to remove the entire headliner with front curtain mounted on? Can I just remove the screws behind the track and the visor brackets to gain access?

    I'm not sure about the air horn. I'll see what hubby says when he gets home. He's at the shop under the truck gettin greasy today. lol
