Well Ladies, Homos (Efron), friends and coworkers, I had a really up and down month so far. So my first week was over from feb paid in march I got 3k miles the first week. Second week I have 1200 miles, 3rd week no pay check, 4th 1800 miles. There is some reasons why it is so low. I had scheduled home time for 8 days, it ended up being 12. I was suppose to have my windshield replaced while on off time it did not happen.
I had a wedding planned and plane ticket paid for I was suppose to run from the 12th to the 23rd. I was given a load for thu morning and del friday. Then I sat the whole weekend after coming off 12 days to get another load monday and deliver that on wed 0130. Because I just came off home time and had a wedding planned there was not enough miles to cover my expenses such as car rental, hotel, food, etc. I was extremely productive during my 8 days planned time off. The wedding I did not show due to lack of funds. Even though I was paid bd and layover.
Two things, Here is another example how I come off home time and get a load only to sit another weekend. I made it very clear I needed to run a good week when I returned for the initial time off for the wedding. I turned in 1800 miles dont cut it. I ate my 150 plane ticket loss.
I spoke with some friends and have made a decision to (try) to stay another year with May, if they can keep the miles the way they were at before my scheduled off time. I actually had a friend call me who owns a strip club and wants me to drive the party bus around town and sporting events. If the money is right I may do that.
I spoke with someone who analyzed my miles from solo out tell now, They gave me a lot of incite. My first 6 months sucked here, I only had 8500 miles average. That was not very stable and I complained alot about it. Its very hard to commit to a company when your miles are low and out of road for months at a time. I am about to go back on road currently at home waiting on a dispatch and going out tell end of May. My miles are going up. I have been available. Now that winter is over I hope we get back to a faster schedule. I hear Freight is picking up! I know my brother Efron is doing really well at his new gig pulling many drop and hooks and over 3k miles consistently. Well I am off for now. Be on look out for next months miles we shall see. I want to see if May can keep up with my work ethic.
Be Safe Everyone!
BTW, for the record I never had to chain this season! Lucky me!

Just to clarify, you averaged 8500 per month your first 6 months. You have decided to stay another 6 months which at the end of those six months will give you a year with May. Correct?
How many days have you taken off in addition to what you posted above since you started working for May? -
ok peeps i thought more people posted their numbers. so here we go... not sure how you guys usually post these up, just actual paychecks you received in the month or actual runs for the month. Im just going to post the 4 weeks paychecks, not the one that posted on the 1st since that was loads for the last week of feb. this is my first full month being solo and well today I was really feeling crappy with the way the past few checks have ended up but anyway here are the numbers... numbers in [] are what I actually made that week in addition to advances, first number is what was deposited on payday. also, each week i have $25 withheld for the inverter purchase
Week 1: Miles: 2193 Net Pay: 318.49 [$543.49] (+225 from advances, max is 125 but I requested money for pallets and when I went to fill out the check they realized it was already paid for)
Week 2: Miles: 760 Net Pay: $59.15 [$159.15] (again, advance lol)
Week 3: Miles: 3850 Net Pay: $799.12
Week 4: Miles: 2276 Net Pay: $491.53
Total: Miles: 9079 Net Pay: $1993.29
I was home for 3 days between weeks 1 and 2. I was also able to stop home 2 other days just because I was passing thru denver
Week 2 was really low because the run starting on monday wasn't completed until week 3, which is why that one has so many miles. I'm not gonna lie, when I saw the amount on week 3 i was kinda disappointed. whats a brotha gotta do to get a 1k check!!!! lol

Last week no check either, was on home time. I will have some carry over but just over 3k miles if I can get this load delivered by wed am.
-
First week 1493
Second week 4612 carry over from first week was a pick up on sun deliver fri
Third week went on home time only two days not bad 855
This week 3591
Total 10, 551 -
I'm swamped! Starting to get stacked preplans.
I have a feeling this is going to be a great year! -
For the record I have not recieved a preplan in 5 months or so.
-
hmm stacked pre plans, you must have one of those things on board that lets you read into the future kinda weird.
-
You haven't?
a dispatch is a preplan that has been accepted by you.
What I mean by stacked preplans is while being under dispatch I am receiving additional "dispatch" preplans before i unload the one I'm on.
A couple of years ago it got so busy I was stacked with up to 3 at a time. -
I was at 9394 total miles for March. That was with 4 days home time for a funeral and two days stuck in Payette with the butt vomits. It was a bad two days.
I have to agree with Platinum on the Preplan. I get them, but I generally wait for a while after my empty call. I wish I had then prior to delivery so that I could get empty and roll. Might have to talk to my DM about this. Though she does read these threads and know who I am so perhaps I won't have to. She is awesome like that after all.
