@blue, the scale at brooks was just rebuilt. It has been spot on with the DOT scale just north at Woodburn. Brooks and Payette appear to be accurate, Layton is the problem child. I won't use Layton when I repower out of there. I always go to a t/s.

Stayed at the pilot at Biggs junction last night, just pulled into Layton with 4 minutes on my clock lol I'm glad this place is right off the interstate
-
so got into denver yesterday at about 3pm, dropped my repower in the yard, went home to chill for the night. picked up a local this morning for krogers/king soopers in aurora. 11am del time, got here at 10, they got me into a door at 1030 and was unloaded at 11. Now, its 1230 and im still sitting here waiting for my bills..... and once again everyone around me who bumped dock an hour ago are all gone >.<
since It is a local, im getting paid hourly so bleh cant complain I guess, but again, how is it these other carriers seem to be in and out so quick...
after this im running to coors and taking it to layton to get repowered and then they'll stick me with a repower or something to get me back to denver for my hometime this weekend, so im not in a rush to get on the road since layton isn't really that far and I know im just coming back this way -
so i picked up a nursery load in payette, dropping it in denver tomorrow about 1pm, it has 5 stops in arkansas.... whos gonna be the lucky person!!!!
-
I dropped one for someone in Denver last week that had 7 drops on it. Just glad I didn't get stuck with it.
-
i dont know why i said payette, I picked it up in layton lol, when i drop tomorrow im just gonna ask her if I can start my home time a day early. it will be wed afternoon when I drop this and I doubt they will have anything for me to run to get me back thursday night anyway

I'm trying toget to illinois,i have home time next week. Hopefully I get something out of payette tomorrow

so during the rush of stopping in at layton, dropping the repower and picking up the other repower, i sent my eta/pta in and didnt even bother to look at my hours for the week. well this morning when I woke up in rawlins, WY i saw I only had 3.5 hrs to drive for the day... fml... so I made it to exit 240 on I25 with 12 minutes left on my clock, waiting to hear from DM as to what we're gonna do with this trailer since it has to be repowered and I can't move until midnight

Wow blue i have been reading your post and you cut it close a lot on your clock. I am just letting you know what i learned cause i did the same thing for awhile, i really had to pay attention with my trip plans so i didnt ever go over my time, cause u do that once or twice and then the eagle is on you and then your trip planning will take on a whole new meaning. Just lettn ya know. Stay safe and HAVE FUN

yeah i USUALLY try to have a plan with even amount of driving per day so that I'm not bumping my 70, this was the first time it happened, tho of course not the first time I've cut it close on my clock. just running from denver to layton and back I didn't even give it a second thought. the past few days was me trying to squeeze in more runs before home time, and usually any other time I cut it close is when I know I'm passing thru denver and I can get time 'off' during my run. i havent had any violations yet ^.^
I'm sitting here until midnight, then running it to denver which is only 25 miles and then im going on home time a day early since theres nothing I can run in less than a dayDoublecutter Thanks this.
