Wedge pilots, 4car auto transporter info/leads??

Hello all,
First post so be gentle, looking to start up auto transport business in spring of 08
Ran as second driver for o/o with reliable carriers (enclosed) for two years so have have some exp. in field but it goes back over 12 years, so figure i'll be considered a newb. looking at new f 750 crew.fifth wheel body, w/300 cat. and allison trans. 53'wedge take3 four car w/trailer hauler pkg. two axle w/super singles. high tag to start out i know, but hate running will i make it? crap! live in central jersey and don't care to run local.(states insane) most of the wedges here are running insurance salvage. Looking for leads from o/o running wedges, like where i might go to get started, brokers who deal with the smaller guy etc. want to do own loads in future but feel i need to stay loaded and running till i earn my wings. don't need to be home all the time, and running hard is me. ran into a fellow running a 3 car this year said he ran hard, had a large customer base, ran all distance and rig grossed 206k last year. didn't think that was bad for an international and a 3 car wedge. feel trailer package will give me much more load options. horse trailers, small boats,utility trailers etc. I know there's plenty of work to go around for everyone, but the local guys here don't want to tell you anything. but i really don't want to take there port newark from them!
