Once a trip leaves GP the first two stops (delivery or pick up) don't count. All other stops (pick up or delivery) count. Returning to GP yard does not count.
any info on Poly Trucking?

Oh ok, so the only way you wouldn't have any stop pay is if the consignee reloaded you back to Texas. Sounds like a first class operation. Thanks.
Jack&Jill Logistics Thanks this. -
If a return load delivers in TX, but not the GP yard, it is considered a stop. Just not the empty move back to GP yard.RoadCall Thanks this.

Here's a silly question- do the trucks have one bunk or two?
-
I'm excited they seem like a very stable and debt free company and still reward their drivers!!
-
Two, but with a no rider policy it just hY becomes extra storage.1nonly Thanks this.

Not wanting to mislead anyone, it's not a bed of roses. Do they pay well? Yes. Do they threat you as an asset & not a steering wheel holder? Yes. Will you drive top of the line equipment? No. Especially not as a new hire, but it will get the job done. How long till you upgrade to a newer truck? I don't know. Are all backhauls quick, easy, & productive? No. more on this later today.
For me the pluses out weight the negatives. This will probably not be the case for all who inquire here. I only hope my posts will help others to make an informed decision.
I've worked for only three companies in the last 15yrs. I left each one on good terms & left only because I found a better opportunity. Each time I did as others are doing; asked lots of questions. Having others being honest with their answers was invaluable in my decision making process. I only want to pass this forward.RoadCall, Jack&Jill Logistics and 1nonly Thank this. -
Thank you one thing I forgot to ask in the phone interview is when do the plan on builiding the plant in sc do know?
-
I have no information.

Extra storage is what I need it for. I've got a 12v fridge and a separate 12v freezer that take up quite a bit of space, plus I carry all my camping gear in the truck with me for time off fun. With a single bunk truck, I would have no where to sleep!
