Hi, I'm new and just about to become a student. I want to do all this right just so as not to spend xtra $$$ that doesn't need to get spent.
My question is:
If I get training to pass my Class A CDL, (california), do I really need training to pass a Class B? Can't I do it on my own?
Thanks for any answers/advice you can give me.

After Class A, Class B a no-brainer?

I got my class B half a lifetime ago...when you get your class A, it's going to cover everything (except motorcycles) smaller than a tractor-trailer.
-
Class A supercedes B, so you have it covered.

Ha ha ha! Samurai, that's exactly what I just told everyone in my class yesterday! I just passed all the written tests for Class A and all endorsements. Monday I start training out at the yard. I'm very excited!

I have class AM-TX. Does that mean I can only drive a motorcycle that bends in the middle while pulling a trailer with an extra gas tank?
