Trailer swing clearance

You'll likely have to slide the 5th back some.

There may not be room for a harley though.

 

I would assume that they put the king pin in the middle of the trailer . So wouldn't that mean that you would need at least 51" from center of kingpin to back of cab or whatever is behind the cab ?

 

Only you know the kingpin setting on your trailer.
If not, then go measure it.
From there you can work it out yourself. My RGN is totally different between the front kingpin hole, and the rear kingpin hole in my neck.
If math isn't your strong suite, build a wooden template and use that to measure, or set your tape and swing it around the 5th wheel.
Like I said though, you will need the kingpin setting from your trailer before you can do anything near accurate.

Every trailer is different. If I gave you mine, it would be with a 18" setback kingpin. My reefers if I remember correctly had a 36" setback kingpin. My last flatbed had a 30" kingpin. It all depends what the setback was spec'ed at by the person that ordered it.
