The most important thing to remember if you lease to a company or if you work for them is that you work for them, and you should do as you are told. You are not in control, and you don't get to make the decisions or tell the owners what they are supposed to do.
If you can learn that you just might be able to work with and for just about anyone...
BTW... You can get more flys with honey, so be sweet to the people you want to work with, and above all, don't tell them that you will kill them and that you will destroy thier trucks.
I hope this helps you in the future! -
That's wrong. Any company that controls o/o in such a manner is not a company I would ever lease to but unfortuantely most o/o are just extra capacity for these companies that run around doing what they're told no different than a company truck - having no control whatsoever on their success or failure.SHC Thanks this.

Really? Last i checked when i had my own truck was that it was my truck. Never was told i had to go anywhere and told them many times that i would not do some junk load. They either found a better load or i just came home, never let someone tell you what you are going to do with your own truck. -
Gentlemen, my post was more addressing the possibility that if they went to drive a truck for an owner and it was leased to a carrier, and they were contracted to operate the truck....
It is much different if you are an owner operator, especially if you have your own authority...
