Been a few real nice days but we have been having alot of days with 40 mph winds which makes it feel bitter cold. I have not had a chance to swing a leg over my scoot though. The nice days seem to fall on the days that I have to work.

Sorry but you would have to ask Doug. I know that I had one of his stealth Cobras that had a receive upgrade and it actually worked pretty good. I could hear stations much better without any added noise.

I don't know what it entails but it does help.

 

Schotkey diode mod maybe????? Had it done to all my radios.

We've had some great days to ride, but I'm either working or if I'm off, it's raining! Gonna have to play me some hookey and just go I think!

 

Well, today is the day to install the 880 into the 4 wheeler... had a great time tinkering with it in the house learning all its features...

Could be .... That snd the 2SC2999 mod helps many radios ....

Too bad that DSP is not being used but right now it is $$$$$ too many bucks ....

 

Bruce, I've got DSP in 2 radios. A Yaesu FT-857D, and a Icom IC-706 MKIIG.
