Sorry but right to work covers everyone. It also means you are hired at will so the company may terminate you at anytime for any reason.

I start the orientation today.Left Wisconsin yesterday morning, drove straight through. They got me a rental car, which I thought was awesome, instead of sitting on a Gay-hound bus.Got to the yard about 4:30pm and got to meet some of the people and see some of the trucks.Very different from the way I am used to meeting company people.I think the new trucks Morehouse have ordered look great, the color of them are very attracting. They put me up in a really nice hotel, instead of some dump like other companies do.So far I like what I see, considering that I am the only person doing orientation tells me a lot about a company and the way they hire people.Morehouse staff are very friendly...

I've worked in the Omaha area for a couple of companies,Morehouse seems to be a stand up company. Even one of the owners of another company said that they were.

My husband has worked for this company for over a year and I really don't believe a word of this. Why would the owner/ceo of a trucking company do this? Why you and not someone else? I would encourage anyone with common sense to ask themselves these questions. Not believing one word of this.

Yep, that's about right. These days when someone does you a favor instead of being thankful , you try to screw them over. If the OP couldn't open her own account, her credit must be pretty bad. In which case she was lucky to get a job period. Most employers do background checks etc because they don't want dishonest people with bad driving records, criminal history etc working for them. Again, she was lucky to have been hired by this company to begin with.

TB John and bzinger Thank this.

The thread dates back 8 years so I’m sure the OP is long gone.

How can a person have to low of a credit score to get a checking account? This puzzles me. Being my score is under 500. Yet I have never uttered and published bad checks. And I used to have a savings at wells Fargo.

If I hadn't had to retire in 2015, I would still be with them. Still have a couple of their folks on my Facebook and keep in touch. I drove for for five companies in my career, and I finally had found my "stay here" company...and then.. that's life! Keep on trucking!
