Well, they gave me a 2007 t2000 that was a piece of ####. I spent a week on the yard and it hadn't even touched the bays so I went and complained and they gave me a 2011 t700. Its a pretty good truck, I just don't like that its a 10 speed. I prefer the 8 speeds. And it seems like floating is way more difficult in it then any other truck ive driven.

Anyways, my problem is, where the heck do I put a mini fridge??? All the videos i see show a fridge under the slide out table (which i think is amazing) but I got 2 tiny little cubbies down there... What about a microwave to? I am new to trucking so I'm just trying to get my truck decked out on my first home time. Unfortunantly I've been busy with friends/dad and I am on my last day now. Thanks for all the help guys

Transam trucks come with the fridge and a 2500 watt inverter. In my 700 i put the microwave in the top cubbie over the sliding table and the tv below that. I unscrewed the cover plates to the lil holders on the side of the cubbies and snaked an extension cord back to the inverter. There are a couple of threads on here about fridges look them over carefully apparently some are POS bouncing around isn.t what they were designed for so a cheap one replaced every 6 months is more expensive in the long run. I did buy the cheapest CB out there $34 on sale at Loves and it works fine if your 700 is like mine it is all prewired just plug it in and go get your chain drive wallet

Ya, I got all the stuff for a CB. My dad has a CB he used in our RV years ago that I'm gonna get. Don't need anything fancy. I'm just afraid the cubbies are to small. It seems there good for putting #### in but suck for putting appliances. I wonder if I can remove one of the cubbie dividers to make it 1 large cubbie instead of 2 small ones. My truck is at the KW dealer and its a bit of a drive or I would check tomorrow...

Are you kidding me? Get a truck that new and you're going to complain? Even so I will try to help. Put your "little cubbies" on the top bunk and rig up a restraining system. Problem solved. Oh yes, you can't float it as well because it is new and your timing is not good enough yet because the transmission is tighter. To answer the 9 vs 10 I would have to know why you don't like the 10.

The t2000 I had needed a new front end, none of the lights worked inside, it needed a clutch, needed tires, the front bezzle pieces were all torn up, it had trouble starting because the key assembly got ripped out, and the detail shop "cleaned" it super bad. Smelled like armorall and i couldn't get it to go away.

I figured microwave isn't that big of a deal. Its just the bottom has the 2 cubbies and when I look at videos and images of the inside everyone has just 1 big one down below for the fridge. So from the slide out table to the floor I have a seperator in there and I'm not sure how to get it out and if I can get it out for the fridge. and I floated a 2012 t660 just fine, for some reason in my t700 if you wait even a smidge to upshift it grinds and you need to raise rpm's a lot to get it. May also be because I'm going from an 8 speed to a 10 but still, in my first trainers t2000 I would put it in neutral, wait a second, slide it into gear. On my t700 you gotta go FAST FAST FAST or it wont work.

you might want to worry about learning how to trip plan, adjust your sleep to the scheduled demanded by the load, than where are you going to put a fridge. You do any modifications to the truck, you will be charged for them...

You have a new transmission, it is tight like it should be, not a loose goose.

Some companies order the "fridge" package, steven's does not.

I see. Ok. I'm pretty good at trip planning so far. I'm just trying to set my truck up to be my truck. I get back on it tomorrow. In a way its been nice being here with my dad but man. I'm starting to go stir crazy without work.

Is it a fridge or 12V cooler?

    One caveat about the micro.
    Size!
measure the cubby and then the prosective micro. I found that the largest I could fit in there was a 700 watt model from WallyWorld. $39.95
Works good, but some foods take a bit longer.
