When I went back, I think it took a matter of two phone calls and 2 hours and I had my travel plans faxed to me. That was a few years ago, but it can't be all that different now. Be prepared you will need a sleep apnea test.

Got a question on idle restrictions. Does that mean you can't isle while you're sleeping even if its hot out. I wouldn't be able to get any sleep I get hot easy and need it to be on the cool side to sleep. I wouldn't care if means no bonus or can u be fired. I also. Like to sleep with a fan on is that possible to

no most of the trucks have APUs....the old tripacks will have A/C for sleepy time...but when it gets really really hot sometimes a fan helps....the New Trucks have HVAC Electric APUs...so far the heat in mine works great!!! when the A/c was working it worked great too...but now its waiting on parts for the A/c portion...

Well after getting it confirmed and having a date I gave the wife and kids this past weekend to let me know their feelings. I mean real feelings about me heading bback OTR. She convinced me that we need to be spending more time here together. So, I called my recruiter and let them know i won't be coming back at this time. Just feel its better to spend time with my kids and get some home issues taken care of.
So after all this i set up my current DOT physical with my current job and I'll be darned if my health may change things for me. Spilling sugar. I currently have type 2 diabetes and have been taking meds. Need to do more physical exercise and straighten out. Now is the search for a job i can do here at home. Could end up back in a school somewhere soon.
