The adventures of 'Team Klingon'

LOL... Nope... We only have OOIDA stickers and 'team operation, check sleeper' stickers on the side... And they are small... Some day we will have our logo on the truck, but there are other expenses to take care of first

 

Well we had to call our 99 and reschedule our delivery... Which bumped us off our next load. Wish I could call up our DM and tell her WE TOLD YOU SO!! But it wouldn't do any good... So we will get there (well an hour away) and park... Take showers and do laundry... Hope we will get a load out tomorrow, but have a sneaking suspicion we will get 'spanked' and not get a load out until the next day... Ah the joys of trucking!! LOL

 

We had "chicken corny corn chowder with ham"...

1 can of Cambells chicken corn chowder
1 can of mexi corn
5 oz of diced ham sandwich meat

Basically tossed stuff we had on hand together... Need to go shopping soon

 

Well HI

We have been rolling from AZ to the right coast, then back again. Running the 40/44 (the old route 66) corridor. We might have to look for more local work though. Our daughter and husband have found and are buying their own home. So the fun part of maintaining a home while on the road is raising its ugly head. However we might be able to talk a nephew into moving out of his little apt to house sit

So there really hasn't been too much to 'report' ... LOL! We are just rolling along.

Although we have settled into a routine as to driving times... We swap over about 1-2 o,clock... 12 hr shifts... Then with the fueling, potty stops, loads and unloads... The on duty time seems to equal out. It works out well sharing the o'dark driving as well

We crunched some numbers and we are sticking with the old plan... The new plan works IF you get more than 10% or over dead head miles... Where we are right now, we don't. Plus why would Central offer something that would increase the drivers income when that just decreases their own? New leasors... Not sure if they get an option between the two or not.
