    My husband finishs orientation tomorrow...does any one know how long you're with a trainer if you already have experience? Thanks:biggrin_25521:

    takes about 100hrs... so 3-4 weeks... U2 would be the best to answer though

    It totally depends on what safety says. I'm assuming that you mean he has his CDL and already has a few months under his belt. The 100 hours Kaos is talking about is for students.

    How long youre with a trainer depends on how long it takes for your trainer/FM to see you can handle running your own truck.

    yeah he has his cdl and he had 4 months of over the experience. The only reason I was asking is because we have a baby due in like 6 weeks

    He needs to ask his trainer and his FM if he can schedule some hometime around then. I'm going to guess at least 15K.

    Since he has his CDL he should be hired immediately, correct. If so he can use the Family leave act as long as he is a employee of prime. It allows leave for pregnancy of a wife. I would suggest he does not get a truck before hand, if you are out more than 4 days they require you to turn it in until you return.

    Congrats on the baby.

    Ok to answer her question I already know I have to do the 30k team train. She just didn't ask lol. I didn't know about the leave act but I'm going to talk to anyone and everyone I need to to get home. thanks on the congrats.

    You should have no problem getting home, from what I've heard and seen, prime will do whatever it takes to get you home when needed.
