My friend Dan in SD was a OTR Truck Driver and said everyday someone on the CB asked where the nearest Walmart was. Well I put together a little pocket book to help all the Drivers and have been having difficulty getting them to you. Approximately 30,000 copies are stored in Boulder City NV and if someone would like to pick them up and distribute them to your fellow drivers, I will gladly donate the books. If you are interested, or know of someone who is, I would greatly appreciate your help. [IMG][IMG]

I get paid to haul freight 30,000 flyers can be delivered wherever you choose just tell me where you want them and I'll tell you how much it's going to cost, by the way most drivers can find any walmart with there gps or android cell phone heck most new drivers don't even carry a drivers Atlas anymore, but I guess the extra paper could be useful if they get stuck on the road with no restrooms near by. Just my opinion of course.

Thanks Bill for the Reply. I am wanting to donate - or giveaway the books - thus do not want to pay for shipping since I had the expense of printing them. They are pocket sized books, 174 pages each, box of 132 books weighs 25lbs each. Driver's find this book handy - RVers also - even in the paper form. It would be an excellent handout at Truck Shows, or fund raising events, or to give away a with a membership or subscription renewal, or just a large trucking company that wants to give them to their drivers, etc. Free is always good! Just need to find the source that has access to drivers that would want to pick up the books (or have them picked up) and give them to the Drivers. Thanks again Bill.

Yes they do and it is useful. This is compact, pocket sized and lists the stores within 2 miles of the Interstate and which Stores do Not Allow overnight parking as well - specifically designed for what the Drivers requested.

You may want to talk to someone who handles the truck show in Las Vegas or has a booth. I have one of these books and I got mine at a truck show.

Thanks - I have been in touch with Walmart Transportation through the years, and have had some interest, and come close, but Notta so far - which they seem like the logical choice. Jon with the meRV was handing them out at the Las Vegas Show - last year he had to cancel last minute due to fluke weather damage to his meRV on his way to Vegas and now apparently the meRV is no more. I've emailed the people who put on the Vegas show, and am waiting to hear back. I need the 'someone' to contact me. Thanks for your suggestion. So, you have one of the books, what do you think of it? and do you use it?
