mine gives me $15 for every hour past 2, up to $75.

and if you sat in the dock for 10 hours, I wouldn't count on detention pay, that is called a "DOT Break", they are gonna say it was your break and you can drive when you are done loaded.

Mine would get to watch me take another 10 break. I don't sleep while loading.

Can't recall the last load that even took that long really

Maybe you ain't as big a pain in the ### as I am.

I'm all over it if my pay comes up short.

I've been known to call because I "thought" it was short.

One thing I learned long time ago. If you hand someone a $20 and they short you. Don't expect them to "catch" it.

And it isn't just trucking companies.

well, I noticed I was missing a load on my pay.

I sent my DBL a message with the load number and the load info and asked him to check on it.

The next day I hadn't heard back, so I called, he told me payroll was aware that I didn't get paid for the load, and they were trying to fix it, and it will be on my next check.

No biggie, as long as I get paid for it, it was a 590 mile load with a 7 hour live load.

THis is the first time they have failed to pay me, so I didn't get in a tizzy about it.

I still haven't been paid for a load I took almost 3 weeks ago. Mentioned it once, nothing has changed. Was going to mention it again, but my DBL lost a family member, so I avoided the issue. It's not on my next check, either. Going to have to go to management I guess.

Also still haven't been reimbursed for a hotel expense incurred on 12/31/11. I've complained about that one at least 12 times. Management time.
