Well they tried to give us a load to San Antonio so I called the FM. He asked me to do a little run for him while he figured things out. I picked up a trl in a vacant lot somewhere in AL and delivered it in Jacksonville AL. In the meantime he said go ahead and pick up that TX run and we would swap loads with another truck headed to Florida.

So I make it to a truck stop and my 14 is about out. I tell my co-driver the plan. I tell him to wait for the load info then go pick up that load in Georgia and start heading to Texas, then stop in the morning and ask the FM about the relay. I sleep about an hour, wake up and ask if the load came in yet. It hadn't so I suggested he send a msg. Then I went back to sleep.

Woke up at 5:45 and we are at the same truck stop. I look and he had sent an incomprehensible msg about a relay. He got a response of "what relay?", which he ignored. I wish I could throw this guy off the truck right now.

    Jarhed1964 Thanks this.

Sorry to hear that people are just that way. Hopefully you get a new team driver.

I hope you get home soon, vinsanity......and get a new team driver soon!!!!!

It's back to work for me today. Have really enjoyed my home time, getting things done around here. Got my son's room organized with a new desk and some shelving, redid my office with a new desk and a lot of throwing out of stuff, and redid my bedroom adding in a new bookcase.

Finally made it home! Had a late night therapy session with my wife...LOL. She wonders why I am not that patient with her...LOL.

I've already told my FM I am not teaming with him after I get back. I don't think the FM truly understands the level of incompetence I am dealing with. I would rather deal with training a newbie.

SO GLAD you made it home.....enjoy your time, be nice and patient to your wife!!

I'm in E. St. Louis waiting on a load to get here to repower and take it to Paw Paw, MI.......and then tomorrow I'm meeting the same driver in Gary and taking his load to MD and VA.

glad you made it home. As for FM's they never will understand what goes on out there. I am not sure USX really care either, all they care about is that the truck keeps moving with two people in it.
