Ok whatever , and as we are all ALLOWED to have our own opinion I still think its a 1 time poster.

6 Months ago she had posted on another site looking for info on living out of a truck as she and her husband were planning on going trucking , never returned

For me basic human instinct would be to get away from a threat. Yet this lady never did this and how did she get out of the ER still hurt?? IMO if indeed this did happen then this person allowed it because she failed to respond in a basic manner to protect herself. 911 was never out of reach from this lady.

Going to a public place of business and tell the casher she is in danger please call police.. YOU KNOW THE SAME STUFF WE TELL OUR KIDS TO DO. Just makes me angry sometimes people are losing common sense.

How is she responsible? Isn't this like being in a plane crash? She wasn't the one who crashed the truck.

Fishing for a lawsuit. In no way am I taking up for crst. First time posters don't write a book for first post then slowly but surely point at lawsuit. No sympathy here. I call b.s. just because you are new to trucking isn't a excuse for pure ignorance. Lady talked like she was a prisoner to a mad man with a gun..

Thank you all for your replys to my post. Each of us is entitle to our own opinions.

    To answer a few questions...

I did not feel any of the injuries at the sceen of the accident..the adrenaline was running too high. It was about 2 hours after that the headaches started. It has been determined I got a cuncussion.

You are correct...911 was always in my reach...We were told there was no need to call 911 because our company hotline called them for us immediately after the accident.

No this man did not hold me hostage with a gun...he was, however in authority over me.

No I am not fishing for a law suit...I am venting and warning other people of how this company treats it's employees.

As an adult I HAVE taken back control. I have chosen to leave Cedar Rapids IA (The company told my Dr. I was not allowed to do that). And I have decided not to deal with them anymore.

I do not blame CRST for causing the accident...I blame them for not being professional in their communication with my husband and I before, during and after the accident.

I am not a frequent poster on this site...or any other site for that matter, but felt very passionate about letting other people know that CRST is not a good place to work. I did a search online for "CRST" and found many other dis-satisfied employees...some of which have even posted on this very site. It is nice that there is a place people can go to raise their voice.

Thanks for the feed back and comments.

Just letting you know that my husband DID demand to get to me. In fact...he had to quit the company in order to do so.

As for why we didn't pay for our own rooms? I DID pay for my own room once I was in Cedar Rapids...You have to understand we are almost completely out of money at this point. It wa 2 months after selling all of our possesions that we even saw a paycheck from CRST (the largest of which was under $300.00). We did not have expensive possesions to sell...no big houses, boats, cars...just furniture and household items, so we did not make a fortune.

In no way do I blame CRST for the decision I made to sell everything to go trucking...I simply feel they handled many things very unprofressionally...(and continue to do so).

Thanks for the opinion though. I can see why you may not understand. It is hard to simply read a letter and get all of the details.

Thank you to whom ever it was that said my profile said I have been a trucker for 6 years. I did not know it said 6 years. I have changed that to the appropriate status. Aparently using the word "bunker" or "bunk" has some eyebrows raised.. "bunker" or "sleeper" was the term used by my trainer. It also seems as if some people may be questioning my credibility? I don't care who questions my "credibility." My credibility is not in question here...The company's is.

This post was meant as an opportunity for me to share the documentation I gave CRST and to warn other peple of the type of company CRST is.

You said you were a life coach. Did you do that for money? Advise strangers at a fee what to do with their life situation? If I'd paid you and just read that post I'd be screaming for my money back.

Too much touchy feely. Major corporations of any stripe would've never acted different. If you've no clue, it speaks volumes to your work-a-day nativity. These companies are in business to turn a profit, not coddle someone who may not make a year in the seat.

You have no case, other than your physical injuries. You delicate "emotional state" means nothing in the right to work midwest.

Just call me out. I know from experience.

Read what I said...as adults we take responsibility for our own actions.

I was involved in an accidemt where a driver jackknifed across the highway and I had no outs, to my left would have taken out a van and a couple of other cars, this was Detroit Metro early morning traffic, long story short, when the trooper arrived on the scene I was seated not bleeding or hurt he looked at the scene asked me if I wanted to go to the hospital, I said no 3x an officer came to me and said listen sir you were just in pretty serious accident your adreline is really high right now but when you come down you might be hurt please let them take you to the hospital. Im 6'3 255. My point is i just find it strange that a trooper would let this poor little lady ( you peoples words not mine) just go to a hotel in a cab.

There our other holes that I felt were in the story. You can only control someone who lets you do so, so please miss me with that I felt trapped crap send your husband a text tell him your creeped the hell out and he (since he allready quit) should have came and beat the crap out of your "John"

Listen like I said my OPINION was not going to be popular, but his is a public message board so I gave it.

And anybody who didnt find that story long and thick and freaking mind numbing is nuts. Man or woman my OPINION would have been the same
