I called the ones in ohio rubber gun sqaud. The nutered ones are generaly the worst too. In. is same way and they really like pushing drivers around.
A prosecutor up there said it would be easier if I'd pay the fine than try the case. I told the court if she felt that way she could pay the fine.
One thing can be said I make them work for the money if they get any.
If every driver would fight them we'd see things change. as long as you bend over they will screw you.

    MNdriver and shredfit1 Thank this.

As most know (alot don't) ,, the tire itself has the cold PSI needed stamped on the sidewall,, not all tires require the same amount of cold PSI( thus the need to pair tandems accordingly) , therefore was the officer going by what "most" use in determining the PSI? as in " 100 PSI" or was he going by the cold PSI stamped by the manufacturer . Example,, some will actually be stamped with "120 cold PSI",, some 110 PSI ,,,, sooo which did he use to determine the 5 PSI under inflation? If it is the foremost , then I'd advise contacting his superior and advise him that is the case. They may have the warning removed and CSA points disappear.

Getting them to remove CSA points with a warning is like something freezing over.

it will take a court reversal of rather high up for a 4th and 14th amendment violation to make this any better.

If you search court records you will find the same thing.
Only reason I posted it was I have posted I carry a VA recorder with me and a small video cam and have had some tell me how illegal it is to record the police, thought I save them posting.

I read the same thing for that to be applicable they would have to have wheel scales and weigh each dual or single wheel posistion. Then you have several diferent sets of data to use to determine exact proper pressure.
My tires are marked 80 psi But I use 70 after testing and get better wear patterns. I would be inclined to think this police in houston found himself a new toy and is making everyone suffer due to it. I think CVSA's 50% inflation is considered flat is about right a good tire bumping will detect that.
I carry a air gauge and tread depth gauge with me just in case.

That is great, what camera do you use. I've also been thinking of getting one. Very interested to hear how you set it up
