I honestly don't know where to even begin here. About a month ago I began working for a company that does one-way transfers, among other things. Long story short, without exception everyone I have talked to or worked with has been getting shorted on paychecks, either via missing jobs, erronous advances, or usually... both. And that's really just the beginning, but a lot of what's on my mind is just speculation. Anyhow, now we've been told that we aren't allowed to contat payroll about paycheck discrepancies, instead we have to talk to our team leader who talks to the ####-up of a dispatcher who talks to payroll for us. That isn't the only illegal thing they're doing, but I want to have some legal muscle behind me...

So are you going to be their white knight? Have you been cheated? If it is their policy that you talk to your team leader instead of payroll...........then thats their policy. If you think you are being cheated then you should be documenting things. You can speculate all you want but without proof thats all it is, is guess work.

Unless something has happened TO YOU, then DO NOT take on everyone else's claims. You REALLY DO NOT KNOW, if it is trucker's stories they are giving you, or the real truth.

Further, if you feel so passionate about this, then join OOIDA as they have a legal staff that can answer your questions, and guide you as where to go.

If it were me?? I'd let the one's doing the complaining to fight thier own battles.

In the end, you may come up looking like an acehole, and will most likely be fired for starting some "sheet", then be blackballed from the industry.

Think that you will find a job after that???

Personally, I think they are playing you as the fool.

I can't offer you any legal advice so this isn't really what your after but it's something you should take into consideration.

You've been there one month, if you start a stink they're going to want to get rid of you and I sounds like they may be less then honest. What may happen is that they find anything or make something up and then your going to take it in the pants on your DAC, or at least a bad reference.

Not what your looking for but I would cut my losses and run.
