No, it will just mean they will restrict the trucks further.

I stand corrected,What I usually do if I'm runnin north-south and the load drops or picks up close enough to the state line I usually run through Indiana as far as I can.

Exactly... cause isn't the real reason that the "son" died was because he hit the brick wall (the truck running 55 mph)?? .. it certainty wasn't because he was running 145 mph...:biggrin_25521:

They might just ban trucks from that particular highway after that.

Obstructing traffic might be exactly what they want ("for the greater good" of course!)... :biggrin_2554:

As anyone that has read any post i have made on this board i will say it again, I am a newbie, with that being said i picked up a load in WV going to K.C. as a new driver and not even having a speeding ticket in my personal car i always drive the speed limit. I say this because i had driver talking (&*(&$^%$ on the CB about me only going speed limit for a day and a half . i was driving 65mph across IN and had not been through IL before... WELL as i crossed the state line there was a state trooper and he pulled me over for speeding, i was less then a mile inside IL and had not seen any sign's for speed. trooper asked if i knew why he pulled me over and i honestly told him no as i was only going 65mph. He chuckled and said that is why he pulled me over. He asked for my licence and log so i gave them to him and after looking at the date i got it he gave me a break ( hard to believe i know) and only gave me a warning. hard to say you never speed when you are doing ten miles over, LOL. needless to say it could have been a very expensive lesson.
