Tall man you hit it on the head. Now some of these guys did try to hang in, but there budget couldn't wait for the turn around. You also had a lot of them quit in the beginning of the year. When freight is slow for most companies. To be a new driver coming in with the attitude you have. It will take you long ways..
Coming in with an attitude that somebody owes you something. Will have you singing the Somebody done me wrong song over and over. I personally would not tell anybody to come into this industry. Its has really hit the bottom. The time, and relationships that will be lost is not worth it. The money that will be stolen from you. Is not worth it. But if you love to drive, and like to be in your own quiet space. This is the Job for you.

I get home every 2 weeks more or less but I park my car in Greeley which is pretty easy to get back to. Often times I will pick up a load going east to west and relay it there. Since the first of the year I have averaged about 2900 mi/wk not including hometime days. On my 2nd year here and have noticed an improvement in miles and preplans this year. Naturally, not everyone has the same experience here as you can tell by the - posts. I do get along well with my FM and I think this helps greatly. Take care all...

I had 2 DM's with my last company. Got along well with both of them. The difference tho was, one was willing to bust their butt for their drivers, the other was just there for a job. Just sayin!

Somehow my drop times got messed up. Got to the first one at 8:00 like I was supposed to and was told my ap was at 11:00. Hour later 2nd drop is calling wondering where I am at as my ap was at 8:00. Uh-oh...Double checked, not my fault, schew... Finally got out of the first one at 12:30 and showed up to the 2nd one really late. Was told that I was rescheduled for tom. morn. but.... let's see if the lumpers are still here. Hour later and outta there and headed for drop number 3 tom. Get to number 3 and was told that they rescheduled for the next day too but.... we're not too busy, let's see if we can get you in. Hour later, outta there! Had a plan for a pickup that afternoon and still had it. Showed up 4 hours early and... 2 hours later outta there! Sometimes even though things go wrong they turn out allright!!!
