Home time for the next few days. Dropped my load in Sacramento and deadheaded home yesterday afternoon. Nightshift dispatch tried to give me a load out of Chico to haul to Salt Lake LOL, had to turn that off. You all be safe out there

Been there. :biggrin_25524: Only legal way back out is to go east, then catch that freeway west. adds about 70 miles. Some people go KY90 west, but citations dept told me that was a restricted road as well. :biggrin_25521: I did take 127 south across the dam and up the windy roads. :biggrin_25523: Guess I passed that road test :biggrin_25513: ......

I55S X 240 at the Mobil Travel Plaza. Seems people don't look for parking spots here, as there are about 25 open. Good restaurant (The River) and quiet lot. Might just stay here till my load is ready in Winona IL.....

US127 is non-STAA south of Russell Springs to the Tennessee border! However you can go west on 90 a few miles until it intersects 61 at Burkesville. A couple of twists, turns, different roads and you're in Cookeville TN and on I40.

It's a good point though... macro 15 tells you to take US127 - which is illegal, and the miles/route timing are all generated off of that.

At Flying J in Ripion CA, no hours until midnight again, so no load for me today. FM says he will get me a load out of here in the am. Hope so, cause if he makes me get a reset in then more then likely I won't be out of here until Wednesday morning.

Got washout there at the truck wash behind the loves yesterday afternoon. I've got a 3 stop pickup of produce near Visalia going south to the Walmart produce warehouse in Colton. No appt. just pickup when shipper says the PO is ready, deliver ASAP.

I'm sticking around CA for a few days running "localish" runs. My grandmother passed away yesterday. Waiting for final funeral plans, then boss will have me drop whatever I'm doing, drop truck n trainee at a hotel and take 2 or 3 days off. I'll either rental car it or my sister will pick me up.
