Growing increasingly agitated by the minute. I have been without a load since 18:30 last night and was camped at the consignee with no amenities. So after 20 hours of that I OFF-DUTY drove about 45 minutes to the nearest truckstop. Well starting about 19:00 tonight I started getting computer generated messages EVERY 10 minutes requesting a tractor DVIR report. NO WAY I am gonna log on duty to legally

do a DVIR report this many hours into a reset. But I can't get any rest with the repeated qualcomm messages. Contacted dispatch and of course they patch me thru to the voice mail of someone that is probably M-F 9-5.

from what i was told, it doesn't matter when we send in the 48/49, only that we show 15min on duty not driving.. if i know i'm getting fuel that day, i just use that time to show my on duty not driving and send my 48/49 then. so instead of me loosing 30min that day, i only loose 15min. there's all types of little things you can do with the elogs to make them more reasonable.

sittin at a pilot in Indiana, off I 74ex39.. hopefully i can finish this run and get it on payroll for this week.. 3k mi woot woot!!!!!

Parked at the Indy Terminal. Walked about a dozen laps around the grounds. There is a healthy groundhog that lives on the slope of the retention pond. First time this Florida boy has had the privilege of observing one up close. Nice treat for the day.

Talked to payroll today and they approved the bonus. $300. Now there are posters all over the Indy terminal with the bonus raised to $1k now thru late June.
