Bonus? you mean referll? yeah, i saw a poster at the Nashville, Tn today that said that.. also said the driver didn't even have to be from the terminal you run out of..
i've been trying to find out what the lease/ops are paying for fuel, but i can't get a straight answer.. one owner told me the pump price with Knights five cent discount (which isn't jack cause my Fleetone fuel card gives me that). Then i called recruiting and she didn't really know, she was just reading the info off of the lease/op packet..

Just finished day 2 of orientation, all seems well so far. The people at the Hutchinson term. seem to be nice, the guy giving the classes/driving test is cooler that a Eskimo titty. Have to ride with another driver to Tulsa to get my truck tho. Dunno how ill get all my stuff for my truck unless I crowd this other drivers truck and I dont want to do that. Im going REF. and im hoping for a pete.

cool... I had gone through orientation last week and since I started driving Saturday I've already clocked 1500 miles and I'm headed to Washington next. I'll be hitting the US 395 all the way from San Diego to Washington... Gonna be a nice 1400 mile trip up. 2900 miles in a week's time for a new driver, most excellent...

So, is Knight short drivers or what? I submitted my app online Monday around noon and was contacted by a recruiter first thing Tuesday morning wanting to know when I'd like to schedule orientation. I had just confirmed an orientation date w/another company (after applying to Knight and before Knight recruiter called) and had to pass but was really curious because usually takes recruiters a lot longer to get to the "when do u wanna do orientation?" part.
Also, any of you had any dealings w/the Lebanon terminal?Last edited: Apr 18, 2012

not short, just growing the fleet.. and when ever you send in an application, it uses the zipcode from the app to find the closest terminal, or better yet, the one you'll most likely run out of. So each region has it's own recruiter unlike other companies have a central thing going on. i sent an app to knight and swift.. i dealt with the recruiter out of my terminal with knight, but swift i was dealing with some lady out of Arizona, and she was just setting things up so i could go to Ocala for orientation.
In 2004 i joined the military.. after i left for basic i never saw that recruiter again, (probably a good thing). started with knight almost a year ago.. everytime i go home or leave out i see the recruiter. everyone that's delt with me via, QC or phone, i've met in person.. Feels like home to me..
So much for the Lebanon Term.. it's a nice little term with a good size yard.. was actually there yesterday afternoon.. it's not far from the interstate, about 1/4 of a mile and about the same distance from a pilot.. don't really know anything about operations or the people inside.flatt Thanks this. -
White's T/S (Petro) in Greenville, VA. Parked so far out back that they have a shuttle to take you to the building.

Camped at a Casey's near Osceola, Iowa. Waiting for a load assignment. Stuck in this "offload at midnight and hunt a parking spot" routine. Haven't seen a 4 digit load this time out. They're making me work TOO hard for my money.
