Got to sunny delight at 5:30 Sunday evening, load was scheduled for 18:00 Monday (which no one bothered to tell me until I'd been sitting there 16 hours), the tank had been taken back to get loaded somewhere around 13:00, the bills were not in my hand until a little after midnight.

Don't even bother trying to get any kind of update from the guard, no matter how far behind they are. All you're gonna get is "I told you we'll give you a call when it's ready" in that retarded jersey dialect of theirs.

Tomorrow I'm gonna call Alex in Clovis and see if they can use me out there. Apparently that's where all the good running is at the moment.

that's why i'm happy as a pig in Skit that i'm a system driver.. it sucks at times because you have to do a boo boo run for another terminal but it pays off when half of the company is sitting and you're still getting miles..

ACT if you don't mind the land of fruits and nuts, call Wayne in Turlock and come out here and run apple juice for a while. Wa., Or., Ca......up and down I-5 and 97. Lots of loads out here, if you can get used to the left coast way of thinking.

55 mph speed limits for trucks, while cars do 70-80 is the big problem I have out here. The insanly rough roads in Calif. will beat your truck up. It's harder to go around scales, so it's best to drive legal all the time. So, that's just a few. But there's a lot of deadheading from Los Angeles to Wa. to grab another apple juice load. So that makes it nice.
