Hey All,
So I am getting ready to head to Swift for orientation next week, and when I asked my recruiter about getting home after my time with my mentor..she replied, you will take the truck home.
I am aware to take everything a recruiter says with a grain of salt..but want to know if this infact true.
Thanks in advance~ PJ

Yeah when they allow you to go home

Thanks! I just want to be sure. I had visions of being stuck 5 hours from home with no wheels.

Be prepared to stay out on your own after finishing with your mentor. I was told I'd get home time before I went solo but that hasn't been the case. I've been out about a week and a half on my own and I am hoping to get home tomorrow.
I only had the things I brought for training. My solo supplies are sitting in my house. I ended up spending more than I had planned to get duplicates of things I already owned but needed while on my own.
As for taking the truck home, that depends on how long you plan to stay at home. I was told repeatedly that if I go home for more than three days, I have to leave the truck. Now I can go home for 5 days tomorrow and take the truck. Maybe. We shall see tomorrow.pjay Thanks this. -
Thank you so much for the info. The recruiter is very vauge. I guess I will make sure I bring all my supplies with me just to be safe.
How long were you with your trainer before you were cut loose?
Hope you get home tomorrow
