I've actually seen people do that but there is no need. They let you park a couple hours for free.

I had corned beef and cabbage there on St Patty's day. It was horrible.

I have used the restaurant on the east side a couple times....food really wasn't bad. Tho if I was in a hurry it was run in grab Subway or Taco Bell and go. I noticed last time I was there the CHP and Ontario PD were starting to crack down, even as far as no allowing drivers to park on the street. That's good they are cleaning up. I know their washers/drters and showers were decent. Thanks for the info.

i worked at the fuel desk at that t/a on the east side many many years ago. ontario has always had fun giving out tickets on friday night to the guys who park on the street. they have always had security, just a matter if they were functioning or not. as for lizards... well they aint never gonna really go away. the food used to be good, but that was over.... lets just say alot of years ago. sandwiches at the deli in the fuel desk area were good back then too. only very late at night did the coffee ever get bad back there. i think there are 3 people still working there from when i worked there; rose at the fuel desk, teddy who now works the scales and charles who works in the booth at the truck entry.
the truckstop that was really bad there was when the beacon was on the north side of the freeway, way before the mall was ever built. they were always finding drivers dead in their trucks for one reason or another.
i understand trucktown over on cherry is still operating. that place had a bad rep even back then. now lorettas across the street was a great place to go for an omlette in the morning.

I've heard that Three Sister's in Fontana has gotten a little better but considering the part of town it's in, a "little better" ain't that good.

That's true....the Lizards don't really go away...they get smarter. My first trip into the west T/A I had a lizard climb up in my truck at 2in the aft and ask to birrow my CB....said OK and she threw me a five. Wow I can make extra money pimp in out my CB....lol. I found out thru my company that whenever I had any work done like tire replacement or repair that they paid for....it got me free parking for a day. And I ran into this a few times...drivers actually looking for receipts in the trash or on the ground to make it enough for the free parking. I gave my receipts away if I knew I wasn't gonna be there more then 2 hours.

I was at the Pilot in Hesperia two days ago. One lizard (apparently had four daughters....ok)...and a guy in a pick-up circling the lot trying to hock work gloves and other useful accessories.

I thought I was going to spend the night at one of the TAs in Ontario, but got a load out of there after waiting for about an hour.
