Well, I have a pre-hire letter from Werner. I also applied with Watkins-Sheppard, but I live too far away from nearest terminal. EPES looks real good, will be calling them soon. Their hiring area on the map looks like my area is included, we'll see...

conway is much better than werner call them

I drove for Werner for a few years. They will treat you like crap for the first few months, then they will start pushing for you to become a trainer. I did it, it was kinda fun. Plus, its the only way to make any kind of money with them. It gets a little better if you stick it out with them at least long enough to get your experience to go with a real company.

Anyone heard of Walpole out of Tampa; which is one of their office? Thanks in advance
-
try dtl sanford ,heyl i work for them or rowland transportation, bouns transportation or pullen bros all reefer but u get back to fl quick
-
I hear Walpole is decent, when I worked with Pritchett I would regularly see their guys down south. From what we talked about their drivers seemed happy, they have local and regional positions and pretty nice equipment. 1 thing I did here is that they're very particular with your license, they will check it way back....this is just here'say I can't confirm or deny it.
If you're thinking about that type of work you should also look in to Schwend out of Dade City. -
Try C and W out of wintergarden. I see their trucks over where I live a lot. I also see a lot of Walpole and Comcar trucks. Finally, if you are from Brevard County/Orlando area and have a good 4yrs in, try Refridgerated Express. They have team dedicated runs from S. FL to California and NE.
