Hendrickson has an onboard computer, but it is not qualcomm or people net. My hubby does push back and refuses to work on his 10, and he tells them if they haven't given him enough time to deliver his load. When they have asked him to change his logs he sends them a message on the computer (admissable in court) that tells them to send him that request in writing on the computer. He never changes his logs. Of course, they never send the request on the computer because they know it's illegal. But, this stands as a warning to anyone considerring them for employment - this is a very abusive employer who doesn't give a #### about their drivers.

Wow. Just reading the blogs about hendrickson. I worked for them a few years back and miles were great, pay was good, miles were awesome. Reinburstments never missed. Benefits were okay.
You do have the right to say "no to any and all dispatches that are not within the legal HOS. If they have a problem with that give them the 800 number in the state you are in for the state patrol or DOT. Also, the dispatcher is not going to drive where you are and make you driver your truck. Simple tell them I will drive my legal HOS or you can have someone else come get the load or even better come and get the truck for that matter. I don't get to stressed over this crap anymore. With so many trucking companies doing it right. It's not worth dealing with inferior companies anymore. They all have their problems. Just what is your tolerance level. See ya.Last edited: Apr 7, 2012

No wonder I have to wait for a load. I came across this website when looking for a direction PP for PU. If the company I drive for is outright inviting the competion to take loads from us. Then how in the world do they expect us to stay here. Thank you JBS. Been waiting 3 days for a good load. 238+56 miles since thursday. Today is Saturday.

JBS Carriers announces its new JBS Logistics Center, which is opening June 6, 2011, in Gainesville GA.
The new office will expand the companys capacity and add revenue by allowing it to work with outside carriers to transport products across the 48 contiguous US states.
According to Todd Gooch, director of logistics, opening the new office was a crucial step in making JBS Carriers even more competitive.
Adding the logistics division allows us to be more competitive in todays transportation marketplace, said Gooch. As we continue to expand our service lines, this brings us one step closer to becoming a nationally recognized provider of transportation services.
JBS Logistics will continue to contract with beef and pork producers from JBS and chicken producers from sister company Pilgrims Pride, and it will now also contract with outside shippers and manufacturers to match services, routes, and products.
Logistics Manager Neil Satterfield will oversee the Gainesville operation, which will initially employ a staff of six. Gooch estimates that staff will double by the end of 2011.
JBS Carriers is a division of JBS USA, headquartered in Greeley CO. Parent company JBS SA, headquartered in Brazil, is the worlds largest animal protein producer. -

Dang I liked driving for them back in the late 90s. Ward senior gave a darn about drivers.

I don't understand why you bought 22 load locks in 6 months.
-
Looks like I should stay away from this company. Heard a friend talking about this company at one of my stops. Web says they are in Sacramento. Do they have more yard locations. Do they run under any different names.
-
Hendrickson does NOT use Qualcomm or any other technology that would keep them honest. Stay away from them! Far far away!

I've heard Ward Sr was a good guy and ran a good company - Jr has destroyed it and is impossible to work with. He could care less if his drivers DIE - he can always hire more. I've never seen such an abusive employer - ever.
